Two circular titanium domed discs, hang from sterling silver hook earrings. Anodised with complimenting colours, one dark and one lighter in colour, to enhance and give depth to the 3 dimensional forms.
Patterned with a stylized Chinese pines design, inspired by Chinese paper cuts during a residency to Jingdezhen, China.
Each individual titanium element measures approx. H25mm x D10mm (not including the sterling silver hook. Hypo-allergenic titanium hook available upon request - at no extra cost).
Earrings come packaged in a black gift box, with foiled logo stamped on the lid. They are posted in a padded recycled post-bag.
Titanium is used to capture these designs while utilising the strength, hypoallergenic and lightweight properties of this amazing metal. Detailed images are created using a chemical etching process, while the array of beautiful shimmering colours are achieved through an electrical process where voltage is used to colour titanium without dyes.
